Housing for Ukrainian Refugees

RESPACE is actively transforming and managing 26 sites across Wallonia to provide safe, temporary housing for more than 1,000 Ukrainian refugees, ensuring they receive comprehensive support in these challenging times.

RESPACE is at the forefront of providing critical housing solutions for Ukrainian refugees in Wallonia, utilizing its extensive experience in transforming vacant spaces. In partnership with Profirst, the project involves the ongoing transformation and management of 26 sites across Wallonia, including the provinces of Namur, Hainaut, Liège, Luxembourg, and Brabant Wallon. These sites, totaling thousands of square meters, offer safe and temporary housing for over 1,000 Ukrainian refugees, ensuring they have a secure environment during this difficult time.

To effectively manage this large-scale operation, RESPACE established a comprehensive logistical network, including a central operations hub and a dedicated call center. The project follows a rigorous process to ensure the highest standards in housing and support services, tailored to meet the unique needs of the refugee population. The initiative exemplifies RESPACE’s commitment to societal impact, turning underutilized spaces into vital community resources in times of crisis.
